Due to a printing error, the telephone number for the Out of Hours service on the leaflet that was recently distributed to residents in Worcester City by South Worcestershire Clinical Commissioning Group is incorrect.

This should be 0300 123 3211. New leaflets are being printed and circulated.

Many of these patients should have avoided attending A&E and could have been treated more appropriately somewhere else by either a local minor injuries unit, GP, pharmacist or even by themselves with basic self-care, first aid and advice...

	Unwell? Unsure? Confused? Need help? Use NHS Direct.		Ear pain. Stomach bugs. Back ache. See your GP or visit the Worcester Walk-in Health Centre.
	Flu symptoms Contact your GP or NHS Direct.		Cuts. Sprains. Head to a Minor Injuries Unit.
	Diarrhoea. Runny nose. Painful cough. Go to a pharmacy.		Serious or life-threatening conditions. Go to A&E or telephone 999.
