Getting involved - NHS Worcestershire Needs YOU!!!
Making sure that
decisions we take reflect what patients and the public want is a
key priority for NHS Worcestershire. This has been an ongoing
issue for a number of years but has been the subject of even
greater focus during the last 12 months.
We have a legal
duty to involve patients and the public and are really committed to
making this happen effectively in Worcestershire. We are also
continually looking for more volunteers and people who have an
interest and can contribute in some way.
Key decisions are
often taken as a direct result of patient input and there is
already a strong base of community input into health services.
Finances have to always be a factor and be taken into account but
the key principle is that the public should be able to influence
how services are delivered and developed in their area.
There are lots of
ways to be involved in your health care and health services across
the County:
