Complaints
Complaints
Worcestershire Primary Care Trust aims to provide high quality
services. Sometimes things go wrong and people will wish to
complain and have that complaint investigated. It is useful for the
PCT to have people's views, so that they can be taken into account
in planning for the future and to improve services for the benefit
of the whole community. The PCT welcomes complaints, compliments,
comments and suggestions about the way in which we undertake our
work.
The PCT has a
Patient Relations (Complaints, Comments and
Compliments) Policy and Procedures. This follows the
processes set out by the NHS Complaints Procedure. For further
information on 0800 917 7919.
If you wish to make a complaint, compliment, comment and/or
suggestion about the services provided by this PCT, please contact
our Patient Relations Team.
The PCT has separate leaflets on how to make a complaint under The Freedom of Information Act 2000 and The Data
Protection Act 1998.

Learning from complaints
The PCT regards complaints as a way of improving services
in the future. Anonymised, statistical information about the
complaints received, the issues raised and how they have been dealt
with, are published in our Annual Report. A quarterly report of the
number of complaints received by the PCT is presented to the
Board.
Patient confidentiality is observed in accordance with the Data
Protection Act. The PCT does not publish details of individual
complaints.
