Worcestershire Involvement Network

NHS Redditch & Bromsgrove, Wyre Forest and South Worcestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCGs) have set up a Worcestershire Wide Involvement Network (WIN) that brings the public voice to the heart of the organisations. The WIN enables patients and the public to work together with us to better understand and help shape local health services.

The aim of the WIN is to give you the opportunity to:

• Have your say and debate issues
• Access up to date information about your CCGs
• Help us improve the future local health services
• Learn more about your areas of interest
  

By becoming a member of the WIN, you will receive regular updates from the CCGs including new opportunities for involvement such as; Invitations to attend focus groups, complete questionnaires and surveys, be involved in information gathering exercises and commenting on service change along with much more.

We want the WIN to be as interactive as possible and encourage a two-way communication.

How often can I get involved?

There are lots of opportunities for you to get involved and these will be shared with you throughout the year as and when they arise. Your interests (identified in the form below) will also be taken into account when sending out opportunities for involvement.

Will this affect my treatment now or in the future within the NHS?

It is entirely up to you whether or not you wish to get involved in the Worcestershire Involvement Network. If you decide not to participate or opt out at a later date, it will not affect your treatment in any way.

The Worcestershire Involvement Network (WIN) will enable the Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), patients and the public to work together to better understand and help shape local health services.

Are you interested in joining WIN? If so, please register with us by completing the form below. Please note that you join WIN as an individual.

Please note that members must be 14 years or older and registered with a GP practice within the Worcestershire area.

On completion of the form, your details will be sent to our officers who will then add you to the Worcestershire Involvement Network database. If you have any questions or would prefer this form in another format (Braille, on tape, or in another language) please email worcs.engagement@nhs.net.

Your details will be kept securely on our computer files so that we can contact you about topics or projects that may be of interest to you. Your details will not be passed to a third party and will only be used by the Clinical Commissioning Group for the purposes outlined above.  Under the Data Protection Act you have the right to check the accuracy of any information we hold about you and you can request that it is removed from our database at any time. Removal from the database means we will no longer hold any of the personal information you provided when registering.
